Visualization of Ratcheting

The following MPEG movies show examples of the tracking and visualization of ratcheting modes. In these modes, two concentric rings of cells move relative to each other. The movement is relatively small and long periods of inactivity are punctuated by relatively rapid motion. The purpose of the visualizations is to clarify the relative motion of the rings in the various modes.
